The gayest match you ever did see is finally over, we are now halfway there. To kill time, management would like to sperg about the export for a bit.

As stated previously, there is no small amount of "the voices won" present in our tactical design. 5-3-2 is a formation that lurks in the back of my mind for some reason, always begging for a chance to try and make it tick. Similarly with the decision to use Gold wing mids, as their hightened stamina makes them tempting candidates for players that work both ends of the field.

But these are, as some of you know, deeply off-meta decisions, and likely made even more of a bad idea by what we have found about the weakness of CBs in PES 15 as opposed to 17. This is a universal problem, but /k/'s backline in particular were the unsung heroes of the Paul Harrell Memorial Tour, and a key enabler of several of our victories on 17.

Finally, there is the Manager's part in all this. I briefed you all prior to the cup on my own personal fatigue stemming from our high operational tempo this past year, and in the end, it produced an attitude that is best summarized as "fuck it, it'll be REALLY funny if this promotes". But naturally, the price of that decision is ending up in a coin flip with an autopilot. It will most certainly not be making a reappearance, and perhaps I should start doing invitationals on a regular basis to purge the temptation to run overly insane shit.

So, confessions made and hearts laid bare. Should we fall today, then it lies upon me alone. If it is any consolation, there should be a set of Friendlies before Winter, so we can get the boys some screen time without having to wait the full six months till Autumn. The Rule the Waves, Target for Tonight and Paul Harrell Watch Party threads will be my primary means of remaining in contact during the off-season, so keep an eye on those for dates.
