this would be my first bike - so these bikes are quite similar. though mt07 is in everyway just a modern, upgraded sv650. and it's apparently also lighter and more agile. it boils down to the price difference. because I could get a ~2004 sv650 for 1.5k-3k. whereas the cheapest mt07 ~2016 is 3.8k minimum, would pay 5k MAX.

is the extra grand or two worth it for the mt?
