Reminds me a bit of a meme I saw recently: there's some "how racist are you" test online, formatted like the Rice purity test (i.e. you have statements like "Said nigger IRL", if it applies to you, you get a point), and one of the statements was "Called a Jewish person a Jew". Motherfucker, how else do you want me to call (((them)))??
Anyway, we still use žydas like a regular word here. From what I've read, doesn't seem like Georgians ever used any equivalent of "Jew"; their older term for them is "Uria" (as mentioned before), and just like жид, the Jews aren't too fond of being called that (for whatever reason).
