I do play Warcry, probably my go-to game for casual dice-chucking. I definitely agree with >>96539076 though, the lack of a proper starter set really does hurt peoples ability to jump into the game, and the rules being scattered across a dozen different issues of WD and expansion books that were locked behind limited run "VS" boxes is frankly retarded. Honestly I feel like the best thing for the game would be for GW to announce they're officially dropping support so some dedicated autists can compile everything into one massive singular rules document that you never have to worry about going out-of-date or that you're missing something because you weren't paying attention to WD releases.
As for what would get me to play Nucromunda, ehh, I'm not sure. I have a basic 1000 credit enforcer gang (hopefully they'll still be legal under the new book?) that I've never played. Every time I get the urge, I look at the sheer number of books, terrain necessary, and how much of a broken mess it is, and I feel like I'd rather just be playing Mordheim instead; similar campaign focus and wonky balance issues, but at least everything I need is in the core book - and two extra books max if I feel like hosting a 1A campaign rather than a core book campaign. And for terrain I already have loads of fantasy ruins.
