ok!!! 100 edits, in 102 days (3m,10d)!!! my pace definitely fluctuated a lot, and i eventually just started settling on an edit every other day (unless i was going through a batch, in which case i at least tried to pick up the pace, so as to not be stuck on it forever). idk if i will ever get to 200 edits, especially anytime soon, but we'll see, haha
i spoiled it earlier, but i wanted to try drawing smegma again for edit 100, which as i said >>11408385, i haven't tried since edit #12, now 79 days (2m18d) ago. i honestly hadn't even picked up the pen to give it an honest shot until a few hours ago, and it probably took me less than an hour to produce the smegma in picrel, haha. i am NOT saying it is good, nor am i proud of it!!! BUT, it WAS fun to draw!!! i never knew DRAWING could be FUN!!! i seriously stressed so much when typesetting and for so long after about having to try drawing the smegma again, but it was so fun that i think i'll violate gens by trying to add smegma to them at my leisure, from now on, haha. by far the biggest gamechanger was just just reducing the brush hardness from 100... it reduced my stress to wanting to die to it actually being FUN... i also freely added jitter to the brush (the stock value is 0.20, and i went as low as 0.2 and as high as 0.40, depending on brush size), which i think helped a bit. in the end, i couldn't add shadow to convey actual mass- let alone dripping- like i wanted, and i used the smudge tool as a crutch to hide how low-effort the smegma was. but i hope i'll get better at it over time...
