I think the only other game I've seen come close to actually doing what Tarkov initially set out to do in terms of 'hardcore guntism with RPG aspects in a large world' is GZW and to be honest I'm still not quite sure whether that game is just a generic Unreal asset flip that managed to get enough traction via the Unheard drama to evolve into something better, or a legitimate passion project
