in lieu of cyoas because I haven't played any interesting ones in a long while, I know this thread talks about superhuman sometimes, and on the topic of eroge with a lot of meaty plot I found jezebel to be pretty compelling. it starts with the protagonist dumping her brother in the middle of the woods after framing him for the murder of a nobleman so that she could be the sole heir to their house, and returning to the capital after running off 5 years beforehand from an arranged marriage and it rolls from there. its a good inciting incident because the rest of the episode/first part is duvessa dealing with the repercussions of her schemes and unforseen consequences. right now theres only the intial release and half of the second part just came out, i'd reccomend it because it was fun to read and it felt well thought out, though I should probably warn the game has copius amouts of yuri with duvessa adopting a country bumpkin tomboy to use as a human bodypillow to sleep with
