I have no idea who wrote whatever book or opinion piece or whatever that is you are referencing there with your picrel but they clearly don't understand Revelation at all and have stupidly fallen for the retarded ((secular)) historian and midwit mainstream christian interpretation of Revelation that sees it as just a mundane coded document written by John that's just about emperor Nero and 1st century happenings in his time.
This is not fucking true and the majority of Revelation makes no sense or is left unexplained if you view it like this. In reality, Revelation is the pinnacle/climax of most of the prophecies in the Bible and is entirely built out of them filled with callbacks to all of them
e.g. the appearance of the Heavenly Jerusalem, how it relates to Daniel's prophecy of weeks, the throne of the Ancient of Days and the Son of Man (the lamb) seen in Daniel and by Ezekiel, the fact that the great Beast out of the Sea is a composite of all of the separate beasts in Daniel's vision (faces/mouths of a lion, body of a leopard, feet of a bear, horns like the fourth beast) and it goes on and on. Revelation is the pinnacle of prophecy which describes events spanning far beyond Rome and the first century and is the last prophetic vision hence why it's the final book.
Once you read the entire Bible and understand it, then it makes sense - and you realise how it explains current events happening RIGHT NOW. We are in the last days.
