I’m part Comanche and the family lore tells it like this. When the native Americans (we used to call ourselves Indians, but can’t anymore because we don’t want the horror of being confused with jeets) were moved to the reservations, all the high IQ hard working people left and and joined modern society. The only people that stayed were the low IQ lazy alcoholics. This is why the reservations are currently poor and plagued with alcoholism.

My great grandfather left and got a job working on the railroad as a mechanic. Bought a Cadillac and educated himself. The northern native Americans were originally European genetically. High IQ honorable altruistic warriors.
