Modern persona "fans" don't play games. It's still the same guys who have been buying these games. Persona 3R and metaphor show that outside of the online "hype" and noise. It doesn't impact or help sales. 5 is a very okay that gets propped up by tourists and secondaries who hate japanese animation, games and media and only like the idea of it.

t.worked in translation for a few year. These types even outside of persona have become louder and more annoying. Thankfully korean media is starting to grow and will soon overtake it.
