The worst part is seeing people scoff when you romanticize the past because they've all bought into a lie that their version of the world with the censorship and corporate homogenization is "good", and so they see nostalgia as a threat and gaslight us by saying:

I used to believe that bullshit during the good times, and I kick myself for it. Things were so much better that it's painful, across all . This world feels alien and cold. Everything is worse now, from the culture to the entertainment.
