I'm honestly not against it. TSM mechs are fun. I'm just concerned about how that would impact melee weapons, as TSM+melee weapon would become much worse for any mech >60t unless melee weapons got a very significant buff as well.

I think that aiming for brighter overall might not be your actual goal? If everything is bright, then the mech just looks... well... brighter.
I think what you might be looking for is more contrast between the highs and lows? Which is different than overall brighter.
