Great choice. You should consider replacing the earpads once a year. You have no idea how much it will improve clarity. They are designed around the pads. Genuine or as close of a knock-off as you can get. They are my 4th favorite headphone.
HD800S > HiFiMan Edition XS > Sennheiser HD560S > HD598/599.
