Is Bungie's Marathon based or is it just another shitty overrated Doom clone that only managed to succeed because it competed in the less crowded Mac market and was also lucky enough to somehow become the spiritual predecessor to one of the most influential XBox games ever made?
Honestly I kinda feel like it's the latter tbh. The reboot would have never succeeded anyways even if Sony didn't suspend it indefinitely.
