Here's a joke my comrade granpa told me some 20 years ago comrade:
the scene is the warsaw ghetto, 1940, nazis are sweeping the area shooting jews on sight. Suddenly a small hidden door opens, and out comes a small group of jewish survivors led by a young catholic priest, they're trying to escape that hell. As fate would have it however, they turn a corner and they find a german patrol, machine guns in hand, who halt them. The liutenant grabs his gun, points it to the head of the priest and is about to execute him on the spot when suddenly the clouds above make room for a ray of bright light that shines on the priest. A very deep voice is heard from above, and it says "stop your hand liutenant, you mustn't kill this man for one day he will be Pope". The liutenant, after considering the situatuation, replies: "ok, but it's my turn next".
