As a third party, I want to root for Hinduism. Hinduism has a variety of stories, so the tales are entertaining. But Christianity is a religion that worships a psychopathic God who massacres innocent people, and afterwards worships a mentally ill Jew who claims to be the son of God. And it is close to a crime that threatens to send you to hell if you do not worship such a psychotic father-and-son.
Moreover, while Hindu extremist violence harms one or two people, Christian extremism carries out witch-hunts that burn innocent women to death and, through religious tribunals, commits murders at will in the name of God.
When theology becomes a tool for coercion and murder, witch trials, inquisitions and forced conversions. That's not sacred mercy, it's state power hiding behind scripture. Yes. I'd rather the world learned more from Hindu stories than repeat those tragedies.
