Had to replay this one to be sure of my thoughts of it, and yeah, it's still a great homage. You can tell they had a lot of fun making this one, and you can especially tell they adore the original game. I will admit, some songs can blend together fairly easily, specifically both sue and curly's, but they're not bad songs either. The worst song in this mod is ok at best. The art and animations look great, the charts are fun, the little details here and there, I just can't help but enjoy this mod. Personal favorite song would be Balcony. It's not perfect, far from it, and I would hesitate to call it the best stuff to come out of this place a bit, but it's still a damn good tribute and a mod I'd greatly recommend if you ever get the chance.

Not sure if this counts as a mod from here, per se. But I'll let it pass due to me being late, even if this is the reason I took so long to respond but I'm not gonna be that guy.. Played the remastered, just to be clear. And I know I probably used this word already, more than I should've but, damn it, this was a pretty charming mod too. Static himself is pretty likeable and while his voice can take some getting used to (literally just one vocal pitched up and down), the songs themselves, for the most part, are pretty damn solid. There are some downsides however, the art can look pretty good and also pretty... mediocre. Some songs do blend in together. The Hank & Darnell + Nene song especially can be a bit rough, but art and music wise. But for the most part, yeah! It ain't half bad. Personal favorite song? Probably Funkhead. No mod is perfect, not even the classics, but despite the flaws it has, I'd recommend giving it a chance.

"Vs Static: Remastered" gets a "GOOD".
