Personally, I think the explosion in gobbo porn happened after WoW added them as a playable race in Cataclysm.
I've been on the net for a long time, and I don't recall goblin porn, really short stack porn at all, being very prevalent until then.
And then holy shit did the porn of gobbos start getting pumped out. Oldest post of gobbos I can find on Rule34.xxx goes back to 2010.
