This area doesn't really match up with any of Fodlan's coastlines or ecological lineups. And given the crest of Lamine guy is an outsider sailing to the island and none of the flags of the factions in the group align with any of the 3H ones, it feels more likely this just takes place in the same universe, but not in Fodlan.
