alright i'm usually a bit of a shill but it's 2 am which means that I can be brutally honest and doompost a little; i'm really not too hyped about nod-krai bros

the aesthetics are definitely unique and the areas and music give me a hardcore by-the-book JRPG vibe which is very unique for Genshin standards, which I really like, but these character kits and new mechanics just look so unnecessary.
you have all these "new" reactions, this whole new "resonance" with the moonsign shit, this whole shebang about moonshit blessings and yadda yadda, but then you look into it and it's just a really, REALLY fancy way to do the same shit we've been doing

flins is just varesa but more restrictive, lauma is just nahida but with a bloom buff and shit in quicken, lunar bloom is LITERALLY just normal fucking bloom, and all of these characters are glued to Nod-Krai teammates or their fancy gimmicks do not work because of the fucking moonsign mechanic.
It's not the fact that everything is so restrictive that is bothering me, it's the fact that this is the same bullshit we've been doing for years but dressed in a fancy manner.
And the part that bothers me the most is how every single thing here is designed to work with Hydro. Hydro has been the most busted element due to being the only one with reactions that actually work. Superconduct still basically doesn't exist due to how shit it is but here they are making an entirely new set of mechanics that use the same fucking element you use in every single team.

aino is cool though, she's a very good welfare 4* and adds a lot to the game, mainly for F2Ps.
