this will work but it will produce a lot of crystals and taste very icy
legit ice cream is a pain in the ass unless you have some expensive machine that takes up countertop space.
>put insulated cold bowl in the freezer for 2 days (I use one that connects to my stand mixer)
>make cream base
>heat on stove to specific temperature
>put in fridge to cool
>churn in the cold bowl for an hour
>scoop into container
>freeze for another several hours
I'm really contemplating getting one of those ninja creami pulverizers at this point but I dread another single use countertop machine
