One of the things that always made me laugh about the obvious con job of christianity is the virgin birth. Why does the manner on which god appears on the earth matter? He could come through a portal, he could fly in from somewhere, he could materialize in thin air, It literally would not matter, if a god of all things truly showed up and started walking around im fairly sure it would be extremely obvious. No one could even tell you were born of a virgin even if you were anyway, so why would it matter?
And then you realize the simple answer, because conmen in the old days needed ways to justify their alleged "divinity" and thats a difficult thing to do when you try to larp as a god when you are a man so they had to concoct a story thats impossible to disprove that people are gullible enough to buy.
