Harems only work when they're set up for the very beginning & have a male MC like with To Love-Ru or High School DxD. Watanare doesn't work because the harem comes out of nowhere & all the popular girls at school being lesbians is unbelievable. The series should have just ended after volume 1, after that the author started making shit up to drag the series out despite there being no loose ends.
