Its can be hard or easy depending on the job scope and what you like doing. For me, it was super fucking fun, I traveled all over the states doing everything from just pumping grease, to installing vibration sensors, to crane work, to eventually commissioning brand new turbines. Lots of miles driven, lots of late nights and early mornings, seedy hotels, dead little towns. But it was worth it for me, super good pay, a work truck, and on any days off I would travel to different towns, cities, National Parks, whatever point of interest i could find in the amount of hours i had to go there and back. I would do it again if I was single and had a better back.
