I have very similar hair to you, OP. Also white. I tried for years to get trendy fades and textured french crops and everything else. It's not doable, as >>18506011 says. With a lot of effort and money you can come close, but something will always be off. Guys like us have to go for the more "classic" looks (which just means white guy staples). But, at least we look great in crew cuts. If you want a mussy, more trendier look, the zhuzh look with pomade is easy, like pic rel.
