Caucasus people are still technically white , despite clustering with other west asian populations. They're fairly northern shifted compared to other west asian populations and the best genetic profile for them would be half iranian, half baltoslavic. Basically if you mix a finn /estonian or a lithuanian (highest steppe / whg % of all europeans) with a georgian (who have the highest Caucasian hunter gatherer percentage, georgians also have some steppe ancestry as well, but less than north caucasians) , you get a chechen or an avar.
