at the end of goro's confidant he traps himself behind a wall that separates himself from the protagonist. it's to save the protagonist apparently. but when thinking about how goro always avoided bonds and isolated himself it becomes fitting.
goro always erected walls between himself and others and he does so even after forging a genuine bond with joker, literally.
but did goro even really need to put the wall up to save joker in that instance? the enemies didn't seem that threatening. or is it because even after everything, he still resorts to putting up barriers between himself and others?
the bond might've become real in the end but you could still never break through goro's barriers.
