>the OG graphics
I was a huge fan of TotalA back in the days. I remember, since I was a poorfag, I couldn't afford a PC with enough RAM to use the bigger maps. I had a schoolfriend who was a lot into that game as well and his dad worked with computer hardware, so he had two PCs that ran the game very good, and I remember playing it in LAN over fucking coaxial cable network. The childhood memories of afternoons up to almost dinner where my mom scolded me when getting back late, no phones no messages.
Then I really loved Supreme Commander (not the sequel that ruined the very base concept) and, while I got em, never played the "spiritual" successor planetary annhilation titans.
To this day, I still listen sometimes to the AWESOME orchestral soundtrack of the game. I have the original CDs too. Brings me back to a time where RTS games were considered top tier, not it's just soulless AAAAAAA+++ graphics games with little no no soul at all. Fuck I'm old, too.
