I've looked at the new terms and service Nexon imposed and here are the things that can potentially fuck an average joe in the ass the most:
>Binding Arbitration + No Class Action (Non-EU/UK/JP/KR users)
>You're forced into private arbitration instead of going to court.
>You can’t join others in suing as a group no class action lawsuits.
>Mass arbitration is also blocked, even if hundreds of users face the same issue.
This heavily favors Nexon and makes it harder for users to challenge unfair practices.
>Account Bans at Their Discretion
Nexon can suspend or ban you without notice if they “reasonably believe” you broke the rules.
Even accidental or minor violations can lead to termination and loss of access, including purchases.
>No ownership of virtual items
You don’t actually own anything you buy in the game.
They can remove, alter, or deactivate purchased content without refund.
>Unilateral Terms Changes
Nexon can change the Terms at any time, and continued use = automatic acceptance.
If you don’t agree, your only option is to stop using the service, not negotiate.
>Broad Content License
Any user content you upload or post can be used, modified, and distributed by Nexon worldwide, indefinitely, for free.
>Strict Time Limits for Claims
You only have 1 year to file any legal dispute, even if something major happens.
After that, you lose the right to take action. permanently.
