>Zoomers grew up with the dubs
I'm 36, I also grew up with dubs but I'm also comfortable with subs. There were a lot of bad dubs but also a lot of excellent dubs in the past that were faithful to the original. Most English language dubs are roughly the same in quality as their Japanese original since most Japanese versions are mediocre to begin with. Unless the Japanese version has outstanding voice talent, there's no real reason to prefer it over a decent dub. Anime like Cowboy Bebop, Baccano, and Gurren Lagann also have their English dub as the superior way to watch because of the quality of their dub. Also Ghost Stories is superior in English... the original wasn't good at all and the English version is at least entertaining despite the butchering of the source material
I asked for the EN dub's return in the surveys and, if going by the preview, it looks like it will be a good dub and my wife Fenny will be as lovely as ever
