Piłsudski or not, the proof is in the pudding. Hitler ranted how the Polish high command was in the way of forming a mutual agreement with Poland to the detriment of it's citizens then proceeded to genocide the Polish populace for the next 6 years of the war. Poles were slaughtered like cattle while in places like France where there was just as much disdain towards the Reich, it's citizens were treated relatively humanely in comparison. Hitler wanted to kill us irregardless of what side we chose to cooperate with, it's really that simple.
