Lolcows don't just happen just because the guys themselves are a bunch of goofy goobers. Vast majority of them are extremely thin-skinned yet very vocal about their extreme opinions, and can't take what they dish out. So the second things get too heavy (which doesn't take much at all) everything falls apart and they have a meltie. Rinse and repeat.

The fact of the matter is most people that get bullied are very unlikeable people. They very difficult to be around. They can't make friends not simply because they're awkward or ugly. There's something about them that actively repels people away. I try to make friends with weirdos. With lolcows you can't make friends with them because you're always at ends with them. Even if they want to let someone in they have a very conditional relationship and things have to be their way or the high way, so their friendship falls apart. Most of these types are extremely selfish, lack self-awareness, situational awareness, empathy into others thought processes and so on. It goes beyond just not being able to read social cues. They simply don't fucking care, and they never will. They care about themselves, about being the victim, about being the hero, about being the main character of their autistic little sonichu story. Anything that goes against that is a VILLAIN in their eyes, and the logic for why this person is bad is always something extremely trifling. But those types hold grudges over the stupidest shit, LIFETIME grudges, and dobson was that same way. You didn't even have to interact with him. Just some little thing from some stranger on the other side of the room would set him off and he'd write a retarded comic about it because it bothered him THAT badly. And he probably never let it go. They don't forget. Those little interactions bug them their whole lives.
