the cult is just a bunch of bunch of people takin' white claudia. f implies the plant can be found in places other than silent hill. silent hill is in maine by the way. it's not a western in the sense of cowboys. it's a japenese perspective of a romanticized version of a stephen king town. much like the secret window the protagonist is the one that murdered his wife and buried her in the garden, silent hill explores similar psychological detachment from reality.
