It is NOT a free gift if you have to DO SOMETHING in order to receive the gift, and changing your political or religious stance most certainly constitutes DOING SOMETHING (ie, actually working).

Do NOT call it a free gift because it is NOT. If you call something that is not free, free, you are manipulating and gaslighting through false advertisement and deception. You are basically trying to trick people into your religion. But is it OK for you to do this because Jesus forgives you for lying, isn't it? But wait, weren't you also supposed to automatically become a better person once you've received Christ in your life? So how come you still lie to people?
