Venezuela won't be the next Iraq, it'll be the next Vietnam. Venezuela has foreign backers like North Vietnam did and can get plenty of high tech military supplies for oil. Also Iraq was a flat, rocky country where it was harder (but still very effective) to carry out an open insurgency, whereas Vietnam and Venezuela are mountainous and covered in jungle which is perfect for guerilla warfare.
The Venezuelan people don't deserve to be fucked with like this, let them choose their own form of government and let their domestic affairs progress naturally.
