Anyone who's tried to use a local model has experienced a sheer pain in the ass beyond anything a traditional artist has ever experienced. It's not just entering a prompt, kicking back with a beer and letting the computer do the work. It's fucking tedious and annoying, arguably more so than actually just drawing the fucking thing you want to see.
AI is cool, and those who are skilled in engineering the fucking convoluted claptrap system to generate porn or picture-perfect representations they had in mind deserve some modicum of respect. Is it "real art"? No, it's AI art. But still, as someone who's gone through the fucking bullshit to set up a local model on my PC, and tried my damnedest with my alcohol rotted brain to refine and generate exactly what I want, it's a legitimate skillset and it isn't anywhere as easy as anti-AI retards make it seem.
