The lore is good. Sidestepping all the dolls being cute and sexy girls (which is also properly explained, but I won't get into that), the actual storyline, once it gets going, is all about international politics, cloak-and-dagger intrigue, the philosophical and metaphysical distinctions between man and machine and one ragtag PMC caught in the eye of a shitstorm embroiling multiple factions with world-ending capabilities, while the world itself is busy trying to put itself back together after it already ended once.

There's a lot of fine post-post-apo sci-fi detail that gives the setting plenty of unique and interesting atmosphere and nuance. The unfortunate aspect is that the best of it is locked inside this ancient gacha mobage, and even if you were to start playing it, you'd have to suffer through chapter upon chapter of nothing particularly interesting happening, served to you in a pretty uninspired visual novel format. It's a very slow, if rewarding, build-up.

I can't with a good conscience recommend anyone to play a gacha mobage, no matter how generous, but if you're interested, the entire story, with all the side events as well, is available here:

I think. Not sure if it's still actively maintained.
