That was actually one of my favourite moments.
From the PoV of Gojo it was something he didn't see/expect so it makes sense that the next thing he knows, he's already dead.
Because ff the characters have time to realize they're about to die, they have time to dodge. It bothers me in so many shonen.

Though personally, I would have preferred if the previous chapters' last panel looked like pic related to convey it better.
