As part of his visit to Ukraine, Dutch Minister of Defense Ruben Brekelmans @DefensieMin visited Kyiv and Odesa, announcing and delivering much needed support for Ukrainian military and civilians.

Thankful to the people and government of the Netherlands for standing with Ukraine!

In Kyiv, Minister Brekelmans announced that the Netherlands will provide €200 mln for counter-drone systems, including drone interceptors.

In Odesa, Ruben Brekelmans emphasized the importance of the Netherlands’ support for Ukraine and stressed that they will continue to assist both the Ukrainian military and the civilian population. The Netherlands gave Ukraine an mine-countermeasure vessel, Alkmaar, with one more expected to arrive in the coming months.
