I would argue that IS is very much a different game; it's no longer really card driven, the events are largely "here's a specific small extra action at the cost of this card", the swinginess is gone and it's about edging out small advantages. Still features a "lmao you didn't go for sugar? Haha we'll score it 3 times in a row" which is both necessary mechanically as well as a bit frustrating at times
