Ironically, I think the strongest chance of the US ever having anything resembling a universal health care system might actually come from the Trump administration. Hospital systems are constantly on the verge of going bankrupt. If and when they do start going bankrupt, I imagine that trump will deputize BlackRock to buy up all the hospitals as part of a huge bailout of our medical system. Once biometric digital ID becomes mandatory, people will be able to access health care through it. Health care, of course, will be administered by Palantir algorithms and AI. telehealth will likely become more widespread.
