I don't think that's it but I found it curious. I think Extraemily's community is just trying to be reflective right now and clarify their identity.
They're in an identity crisis, after all of Ee's travel, streamer university and collabs, they want to know who they are and the place where they can feel themselves in.
Of course, they don't want Pjv to be apart of it so they're grasping for other ways to build community, even if that means reaching back to old Donators who aren't even there anymore, as a replacement.
