The best thing that could happen to Skullgirls is the original devs never being allowed to touch it again. Diesel Legacy and that Future Club Magical Girl game proved that Mike Z/Future Club have no good ideas and they were carried entirely by Alex.
I saw Diesel Legacy and it's the most putrid shit ever, horrible art style and character designs, stupid 'lane switching' gameplay merged with a fighting game in a way that nobody could possibly like, mechanics and attacks blatantly traced and stolen from other fighting games. If these games "come back" they will be kept alive in a zombie state. Mike Z should stick to doing the technical aspects of games and never doing any design work.
