>Other material she speaking for the team and sets the plans in motion. She's pretty much a leader role for Shadow and Omega to learn about the mission.
I will give to you that she is the one usually doing the planing but that irrelevant if Shadow and Omega don't listen to her.
>Proof, she can kick Amy's ass and equal Knux
My point is that Rouge is made far less competent when she is around Shadow, mainly to make him shine. I mean just look at the number of times he had to save her, SA2, Heroes, Shadow05, 06, Rivals, Dark beginnings, Crosswords(twice), in comparison how many times Rouge has saved Shadow in canon, once, in Battle. Why does every time Rouge make a mistake Shadow happened to be around? Why are Tails and Knuckles allow to save Sonic from time to time but Rouge shining by saving Shadow is off limit?
>How do you know he doesnt listen to her, he always acknowledges her and keeps her as a source of information and mission assistance.
I can't know what Shadow thinks but i can see how he acts, almost every time Rouge give him an advice he will discard it to do thing his way. If you don't believe me why not believe Rouge herself, in Dark beginnings she outright admits that Maria is the only one Shadow listens to, something that the game itself show at the end.
>Shadow isnt unresponsive to her skills and capabilities. He holds her in high accord and vouches for her every time he needs her.
That not unique to Rouge, in Crossworlds Shadow show the same amount of respect, if not more in fact, to Blaze and Knuckles' abilities.
>Rouge's independence in SA2 was presented as misused and wrong
I don't see where that come from, Rouge's main flaw has always been her greed not her independence, unlike Shadow it has never come in the way of her working with others why would she give that up? She may have learn to put her trust in others, but that doesn't mean she should be shackle to Shadow.
