A relic from when I tried to stream. I made a greentext about a pokemon challenge I tasked myself with, some one had some interest, and I hastily searched up how to do that and crapped out a couple nights of 'riveting' content for a handful of viewers before thinking it was dumb and abandoning it.

I looked at my Emerald cartridge after a long time of ignoring it, and saw that I long since stripped it of everything by transferring it forward generation and was left with single poochyena in an otherwise clean save. I figured it would be fun go through the game with that as my starter, my only pokemon really. chat at the time informed me that I'd have to have at least 2 to advance further in the game so I got the Zigzagoon, further chat interference led me to catch a bunch of HM slaves as I went and suggested names every catch.

The premise lost meaning, my Mightyena and Linoone overleveled everything so it was piss easy, so I ended up not continuing.

At one point I liked to think this was a precursor to nuzlocke, but the faint=kill rule was too vast a difference and its not like self-imposed challenges in games weren't a thing.

what a trip down memory lane this thread is
