From Ari's perspective, Zen was the coworker who's easy to talk to during the lunch break but you'd never hang out with after work and it's awkward to see them in public.


The lack of bonding is why it seems like Zen and Ari abruptly stopped being friends but Ari "suddenly" became friends with Ironmouse.

Ari was bonding with Ironmouse by talking to her in Discord. Doing anything but playing a video game with each other.

Zen's very obvious primary way to bond with people is talking to them WHILE playing a video game.

Ari just saw them as collabs, not time to bond. Like imagine Zen and Ari watching a movie or a show together in discord.

Now imagine Ari and mouse doing so.


This is why *and here's the important part*, Zen thinks she didn't do anything wrong.

From her persepctive she was hanging out and bonding with someone who she felt was a good friend. Then brought up "hey we haven't been hanging out as much, what's up with that".
