I could explain it to you, but I'd rather tell you how to know yourself.
when you are in a dream, the character you seem to inhabit/their "thoughts" are dreamt by the dreamer as much as the characters and thoughts as those outside you. The thing which has a sense of loneliness is a character in the dream, not the eternal dreamer, who does not think in thoughts.
notice how even in a lucid dream, the outside characters still act autonomously for the most part. You might conjure an experience, "i want to fly" but something is still designing that environment, and so forth, you do not consciously etch every design into the architecture.
there is something which does not think in conscious thoughts, projecting the dream world into reality, including the character who believes in solipsism it seems to peer through, which you believe you are.
