Odd lookin SakiNui

I've read some reviews for Step3 and it's mostly been positive. I personally found it whatever (like most of Kotone's route) but I did like how one person said the point of Step 3 was to sort of Rest@rt Kotone and KotonePs relationship.

One thing that I feel is an underappreciated part of what makes GKP a decent character is how consistent he is in his dream to create a Top Idol. It's a typical shonen MC dream but it's something you rarely see in other Imas. Usually, the Ps are doing it because it's their job and they want to help but GKP is doing this specifically for this reason. It's the catalyst and motivation on why he chooses a girl when asked (Hiro being an exception). That's why he can be a devoted superhuman and all the girls have a scene where they have a response to that.

For some like Saki and Temari, it's their clear goal too. For some like Misuzu and Hiro, that may not be their main goal but getting top idol is their way of thanking him. As Sena's route is about breaking her limits, even her promise is to be the top idol of top idols so that P will be remembered as a top producer.

Until Step 3, Kotone could not do this. GKP basically just shows up and solves all her problems and, until now, she couldn't pay him back in return. It's only in Step 3 where he outright entrusts his dreams to her because now she can. This may be also why she needed a losing flag as the system was still one sided (plus I liked the reason that it showed her confidence now that she can take a loss like that).

This is sorta why Kotone specifically feels full of PLove I think because there was no way else for her to help him out. Until then, they weren't fully Producer and Idol. For a guy who is super possessive in the ReIris commu, he'd even rent her out to Sena.

Gakuen's symbol compared to everyone else is unique as it involves 2 animals, two hummingbirds. I think this shows that both P and Idol are working to fulfill both of their dreams.
