forgive me for asking to be spoonfed but the rentries are all chaotic and many haven't been touched in over a year
i installed ST for the first time yesterday and put five bucks into the official DeepSeek API (using deepseek-chat), and without any messing around with jailbreaks i'm already out twenty cents after maybe around 350 requests. the only card i have used is that "Touhou Grand Gensokyo Adventure" that's the top result for 2hu on chub.ai, which ST says is 3286 tokens/1352 permanent in the side-panel
hours of digging in the /aicg/ archives gave me pretty much nothing but "10-20 dollars on DeepDeek will last you forever", but this seems to not be so for my usecase
so please tell me: am i retarded? is there some magic setting in ST to play with to not use so many tokens? is the card just shitbloat? is it only the 1k token ERP cards that i can stretch out a small balance upon? (more generally) do i need to use a jailbreak for DeepSeek? (the couple times i did something vaguely lewd in the 2hu card, it either ignored it or shut it the fuck down)
