I am not officially declaring this to be a psyop.

All morning, despite what they heard, /pol/ has been repeating this:

"The dad turned in his son."

in other words, he initiated contact with the police after his son confessed.

But that is not what Trump or the Utah governor said.

What they specifically said was:

1. The father was concerned
2. The father then talked to a friend who was a "minister involved with law enforcement"
3. The "minister" then contacts his friend who is a US marshal.
4. The marshal contacts the FBI
5. The FBI zeros in on the dad, at which point its over, and the son turns himself in.

Despite this, the media has been running the abridged version of this as if to sell an idea, that the father honorably initiated contact with the FBI and "turned in his own son" as though that were a virtue.

And /pol/ has been repeating this slop all day no matter how many times I point it out or direct them to re-watch Trump and the governor. The details matter and what pol is repeating is simply a media generated lie, in real time, in your face. And no one is noticing.
